Engine Choice
I have 1973 27 T/2. It originally had a Vire 7 inboard 2 stoke engine. It now has a 10 HP Tohatsu O/B. Has any one replaced the Vire with a 1 or 2 GM Yanmar or similar diesel? I would like to go back to an inboard but would appreciate the advice of others. This is a fast boat. It has a doghouse and really screams, I have owned since 2/2008 and am so impressed with the performance. I think this is one boat I would like to keep for a while.
