We've used Micron CXC in shark white. It's an ablative paint and has worked well for us. The lighter color makes it easier to see growth and clean it off, if there is any. It's obvious that Giu has his bottom and keel painted this color for that reason. When he goes out "kelping" he needs to be able to see when to harvest his catch and bring it aboard. It seems that the Portuguese farmers value the kelp as fertilizer for their grapes. It allows them to label their Port "v.s.o.p.":"Valuable Sort Of Phertilizer" and brings them a higher price.
