Oh for heaven's sakes!

The Washington Post's ombudsman, Deborah Howell, has confirmed that the WaPo's coverage of the election was biased. You can read it for yourself here: Deborah Howell - An Obama Tilt in Campaign Coverage - washingtonpost.com

The election is over and we know whom is the winner. Republicans knew going in that there was, and is, a media bias. They knew that that was something they'd just have to overcome. It does little good to complain about it as it is a fact of life and only subject to slow erosion and change. Democrats might take heed though; a ravenous media, no matter how partisan, will need fresh meat and the only meat on the table after 20 January 2009 will be Democrat meat. If I were a Dem I'd be kind of wishing I had GW Bush to kick around for another year or so. Right now having control of the entire government is a lot like having a guy pull into the gas station in a Ferrari, tossing you the keys and telling you it's your's, and you pull out to discover you've got half a dozen state police, county deputy sheriffs, and city cops already chasing you. And you haven't even dropped here into third gear yet!
