Coffee

I don''t think I could try the instant, even if it is real good. I''m too much of a purist. I''ve found making good coffee, like cooking good food, can be an art unto itself. I like to grind my own fresh beans and immediately filter pure, hot water through them. It''s like fine wine. Delicious!

We are moving aboard soon to begin our cruise. Currently we have a Coleman camp perc aboard which makes coffee that tastes like dirt. I think it will get tossed overboard in short order as I hate it. I''ve had better coffee in truck stops. If anyone wants it, drop me a line and I''ll send it to you.

I''ve never tried a french press, but many of you speak so highly of it I think I''ll give it a try. I assume bigger is better as I don''t stop at just one cup.

Thanks for all the good advise. Great thread!
