We make soap,hair gel, etc and the chemicals (there could be 30 items in a complex product) are no longer stock items like they were for the last 30 years
What could be gotten in a week may now take 8 weeks ,The Chemical factory is who knows were right now and the quality is FUBAR requiring a vendor change or new formula to make the product come out on spec
We keep oils in 5000 gallon silos, a customer finds a deal on 1000 kilo bins to pinch another penny NOW we have bins up the wazoo instead of a single tanker delivering 5000 gallons
It is really just and endless series of stuff NOT being delivered on time
