What you forget sck, is Obama is a politician first. His whole record (what there is of it) is loony left. But, with a bunch of loonies in Congress to push for all the stuff he wants, he can stand back and let them take the heat. He's already looking at 2012, and he knows he can't hide as Pres, he has to make actual choices that can be used against him.
I don't think you'll find many conservatives that are at all doubtful of the One's political abilities. The concern, is what he does with them.
