Bucket next time then. I must have got lucky about 5 times then. I did not start the hose until the motor was running and did not stop the motor until the hose was stopped. I guess it must depend on the rate of delivery.... the was a choke fitting on the end of the hose.

I did contaminate the motor with water when a coolant O-ring failed, and things got rather mustardy. A pump out and about 2 oil changes, and a long run, and the motor was OK... at least the oil was transparent. The water does boil off in the end. I have seen it do so on motorcycles.
