Lots of work, worth it.
Our 30' Morgan's bottom looked like that. We scraped and sanded till it was smooth. I believe the previous owner painted over the barrier coat and didn't prep it. We got buckets of chips...but when finished the new bottom paint took nicely. It was well worth doing.

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.
