In regards to what the thread was about originally thanks for bringing this up.

I'm going to locate a small boat to practice on over the summer (as well as our 25' boat) - but I want something SMALL that I can mess about in.

I didn't think of the camping/kayak thing..... "Snark" is a model/brand?
