Today we will be addressing that little fire incident that rendered the 3rd floor of the clubhouse useless. The fire dept. did not hook up hoses under the marina docks because the pressure might explode the hydrants. Hey! Not to worry. There was a fire hydrant outside the marina at Riverside & 10th. As a safety measure, in the event of a marina fire, every other boat will be sunk to create a fire break. More on this later.

Because of our system being spared, a mini tour will be offered to view RPMs "Hidden Gardens". You will see lovely ferns growing out of the fire hydrant supply pipes running under the marina docks. And for those of you who are environmentally minded, it will be an added bonus to find the water being leaked from the sewage pipes being recycled to keep "Hidden Gardens" beautiful. Tours will leave the bait store (formerly known as the dockmaster''s office) on a schedule to be posted along with a sign up sheet. Take a ride in the bait store dink, newly purchased for the sum of $1, and see firsthand your marina dollars at work.

In the event that the docks collaspe from
disrepair, our botanical treasure will be renamed "Sunken Gardens".
