Input on cheoy lee 36 clipper
Looking for input on cheoy lee 36 clipper rig.I have been doing research on buying a boat to live on for a year,longer if I can talk my wife into it.My plan is to take her from my home on upper chesapeake down the intercoastal to the bahamas.Perhaps further eventually.From what I have read I am aware of the problems with leaky teak decks and poor hardware on rigging.But it seems some of the examples to be found on the market have had these issues resolved.I am some what new to sailing but have been on and around boats most of my life 35yrs+-and am in the process of getting my uscg captains license.I guess what I would like to know is how well do these yachts sail?How troublesome is the clipper rig?Can just my wife and I handle this puppy?I just can't seem to get away from their striking beauty!!!
