Thanks Jeff - great stuff.

You point out the difficulty of tacking the genoa on a multi-headsail rig. I have seen some examples of the genoa being rigged on the inner forestay with a high-cut jib on the outer. Is this done to overcome the tacking problem, or is there some other reason?
