Unfortunately, Obama was only in the top 10%, not number one. He just IS the One. Also, as editor of the Harvard Law Review (an elected position, not an academic one) he contributed no published papers. In fact, his work there was so important, you can't find out what he actually did. His college records are safely hidden away from public scrutiny.
During his twelve years at Chicago Law, he had zero published papers, again. And his focus was one racial issues, not the Constitution as a whole.
Now, I would certainly admit that makes him qualified to be a dean at some small college, but, I fail to see where these merely academic achievements have any bearing on his probable performance as President. That he went 14 years in an academic environment without publishing one single scholarly work shows either a lack of effort, or a serious attempt at not taking a position on anything.
