We got over 10" of new snow last night - beautiful and very cold!
I am a woman with two pre-teen sons and married to a corporate guy who loves the farm so I am learning to sail pretty much on my own. I own a 1982 Pearson 26 and sail in Casco Bay, Maine, although I have taken ASA courses and chartered in the BVI's.
Winter is SO long here - every spring (this will be my third with
Esmeralda) I feel I have to get used to her all over again - as well as the feel of the water.
But spring will come and I will be out there again
I'm looking forward to meeting lots of opther people who love the water with a passion - and learning what I can to make my own lessons easier!
