Patient is on a distinguished road
I grew up sailing the BVI with my family (late 80s early 90s) and I remember very distinctly how much Pussers Rum was celebrated amongst the locals. I almost shed a tear of joy when I saw it for the first time in the states many years later.

Pussers is great with Fruit, coffee too, but I find it a bit acidic and bitter with soda.

Cruzan Single Barrel Estate is the great "Swiss army knife" of rums. Goes great with everything, even sipping.

Sailor Jerrys is great with Coke and a slice of Lime.

I am still experimenting with the top shelf Rums. I'd love to find a Dark rum that is good for special occasions.
