hey guys, to install my head i''ll be limited to a space about 19" wide by 24" deep so i suppose i''ll be mounting the toilet above the tank.will i need to build/glass another sturdy platform above the tank to support and install the toilet? how small of a tank can i use and not spend all my time going to the pumpout station(say, three people for a week in the chesapeake bay)? thanks, frank
I think you need to shoot for 20 gallons, but it sounds like you won''t be able to do that given your dimensions. All you can do is go as big as you can.
I would build a very sturdy platform over the tank. Anything that might cause the tank to rupture must be avoided at all costs. It would take a long time to get the smell out of your boat.
Buy the best hoses available. They are expensive, but worth every penny as odor is a problem you want to avoid.
Use only "Sanitary" grade hose for waste tanks.
They''re more impermeable to odours than Rad'' hose.
