In my county they floated a special millage for providing assistance to veterans. Who could vote down or oppose a milleage to help veterans?
But there is no provision to retain the existing budget expenditures for veterans. So the milleage will REPLACE the existing expenditures and the existing funds will go to some other pork project. All sponsored and promoted by democrats who were quick to label any opposition to this charade as anti veteran when in fact it will raise NO additional money for vets. It's a scam to raise taxes. Using vets as a front for a tax scam is despicable. Democrats in action.
