Since I am much to POOR so a new boat I can only commit on what I have been hearing.. Many of the newer boat are adding
epoxy paints to wetted surfaces rather than just gel-coat. This is making for alot drier glass than what could be expected if if not painted.. I for one love
epoxy, I know is can cause a loss of preformance but that loss is so small compared to the gain of fiber glass protection.
