Then you are far better off than most of the rest of us. Denying the facts before you, or just saying "I've got mine so screw the rest of you" isnt very productive when in fact health care is a major problem - It is bankrupting many of us and the Federal government will be in major difficulties if nothing is done.
As for bureaucrats deciding what care I get, they already do. They are profit driven assholes in an insurance company I have never seen and have no control over. This is the situation most people are in, if they have insurance at all.
Myths like that of the waiting times are the kind of thing that prevent change. If you cant believe publications run by your own rightwingers then you are immune to information.
And by the way, the 40 million doesnt count illegal aliens. Nice try but no dice. Here is the HHS data on uninsured people. Check the graph on insurance status by citizenship
