So, basically, what you're saying is, because the GOP didn't do enough to stop the banks from doing what the Dems were pushing them do do, it's all their fault. Had their been no push for banks to make risky loans, there would have been no "toxic" assets to be marketed.
To claim one party is more responsible than the other for the predicable conclusion of their actions is fatuous.
