I have the 504 on my boat. It takes both an input and output, since the DSC function on it allows it to plot the position of any distress calls that come in via DSC.

The output of the M504 should go to the secondary input on the E120, if it has two. Otherwise, you may need a NMEA mux.

The output of the Raymarine GPS can go to both the E120, H1000 and the M504, as one NMEA 0183 output is supposed to be able to feed up to FOUR listeners...
