So far the Kite look good.
My friends and me play a game called; Whatisit?
Normally we find things no one ever seen and see if someone guess what it is.
I have seen everything from a Domaflachie to a Thingamajig (My spell checker actually show this as correct spelling).
So, anyway, with formalities explained. I start my thoughts on this.
First look very good on the Starboard (Right) transom Outside. Use a very bright light, if it been painted over the years the HIN (numbers) may be filled in. If you can see something you may be able to lightly sand (800 grit) and see better.
Boats built before 1972-1973?? Somewhere around then, may not have numbers.
I almost want to say it a
Sears, but, I not think those had much of a double hull type setup. I may be wrong.
I know right around the 70's many companies were trying to get into inexpensive sailboats as it was an exciting prospect.
I think Montgomery Wards even had some fiberglass fishing boats, not sure they had Sails. I pretty sure Sears made a sailboat. ***I may better add, Sears and others had the boat made for them, I think Chrysler made Sears' outboards.
AMF, but, I not think they had a cat boat.
Being in Hawaii it may be an Australian. So may search that.
Heck, Western Auto had an outboard motor, maybe they had a boat too.
I am interested to know, hope we can all brainstorm and someone find the answer.
