IF Folkboat help!!

You may have trouble finding a post 1980 Marieholms IF Boat. I believe they ceased production in 1984 after about fifteen years of production. I expect the majority were built during the 1970’s. There is one listed in Yachtworld for just under $15,000 (Cdn.) and located in Virginia. Judging from the photos, it appears in reasonable shape. The link is:

Below are several more links containing useful information and contacts. Note the messageboard because, as Jack said, many of these boats appear to change ownership informally. The following quote came from the IF boat website noted below:

“Of the Swedish made boats about 2225 are sold in Sweden. The rest have been sold abroad, mainly Germany (390), Denmark (325), Norway (135), USA (125), Switzerland (120), and Australia (100). The last fresh from the factory IF-boat was sold in Sweden December 28th 1984 and it had sail number 3488.”
