I was at a bar after a regatta, completely sloshed. As I staggered down the bar I passed two young know-it-all hot shot racing yuppies trying to impress a girl with their brave tales of the day's racing. I overheard one of the them saying "and the skipper yelled at me 'Blow the guy! Blow the guy!'", presumably talking about some spinnaker adventure. I drunkenly stepped in and interjected "Dude. Don't EVER blow the guy. NEVER." Then, to the young lady, "You don't want him blowing some guy, right?" She giggled, the two dudes threw me some hateful looks, and I laughed and continued on my merry way.
So, gentlemen, don't take any pride in "blowing the guy".
