I agree there is a general lack of information about headroom and berth lengths in the general boating literature. Which leaves the virtically challenged among us (I''m 6''5") not knowing what models to look at. I suppose that means walking the docks and getting in a bunch of boats. You may find that Bill Dietrich''s site (www.geocities.com/bill_dietrich/SiteMap.html) under "Boat Models" may have some useful information. He reports berth lengths and headroom in a variety of common sailboats.
