Winter Cover for Sabre 34
Hi MV, I''ve owned 2 C22s. My first a ''74. Does yours have a blue hull? anyway, just remember the hard way is raising the swing keel, the easy way is lowering it. Try to avoid the extreme at either end. You''ll know when it getting close to the upper limit so quit. MOST IMPORTANT.. DO NOT let go of the crank as it may allow the keel to free fall and possibly separate which will put the boat on its side or possibly turtle. (only heard of this in the C 25 which may have the same sized bolt for a heavier keel.)If the crank does get away from you, be careful it doesnt break your arm if you stick it into the blur.
Its a great boat, honest and able to point higher than much "better" boats.
