This is quite a lot of food for 16 days. Unless you are 300 lbs, or think your voyage may become unduly extended, you only need about 2 lbs (or less) of food per day.
I took a 2 week backpacking trip, and planned on 1.5 lbs of backpacking-style food per day. By the end of the trip I still had enough food for five or so days.
This is walking with a backpack, much tougher than sailing.
