saildog, i have 5 thru hulls, 1 at 1 1/4, 2 at 1 inch and 2 ant 1/2 inch. also my craft is an 76 irwin. the valves are brown and square, and gate valves made by a company called brakham i'll look into the marleon ones and see how they price out compared to bronze.... thanks for the link too
