I really liked the Dehler 39 and 41. It looked to be well laid out and quite nicely detailed and should offer a lot more performance for a lot less money. Obviously the 39 is not as roomy as the Island Packet 380. But it should be an excellent boat for the kind of use that you would consider a Beneteau 411 for. There is a demo boat at the local dealer in Annapolis. If you want info about the Dehler and your on the U.S. East Coast Annapolis Yacht sales carries them and I have worked with a Patrick Lane (patricklane@erols.com) who I have found to be a knowledgeable, honorable and diligent broker.

I am sure there are other good boats that would suit you but none are falling readily to mind at the moment.
