just wondering if you think clr would hurt my motor? it says it's okay to run through a coffee pot....but on the other hand it says not to use on painted metallic surfaces?? I was gonna scuff her up and paint her anyways...I'm not interested in changing my own impellar at this point. Swapping the lower unit was quite a challenge and a rewarding day for me. How much is it to have a shop do it? If I remember right I paid around $80 last time including the impellar. I have a good impellar of my old lower unit (or whatever it's called).
