If you are putting the Sensibulbs in a dome as pictured you should be fine. While they may be technically the best..... for me they proved to be very fragile and extremely ugly (a circuit board) because there is no way for me to cover the light/circuit board with a lens. I bought a few last year after MS's recommendation and I certainly agree the light is bright and the color is quite acceptable. The problem I have is that all the ceiling lights (about 10) on my boat are little 2" diameter recessed adjustable fixtures. The wires to the circuit board are floating free and one of them popped off during installation. Again I say MY Problems are only because of MY Specific Light Fixtures, but as for the fragility of the lights themselves I would be very cautious during installation.
