I have a Hunter 36...and need the same advice. I was told a 2 inch hole cut in the mast, above the wiring connections may work. Replace with Stainless plate, 3M 5200 and stainless screws. I haven''t tried it yet, but need to. My lights all worked before the mast was stepped, but afterwords, none work. Also, the VHF antenna wire is not together properly, so I get no reception with the exception of local weather.

Anyone attempted this before?
