Must not use the boat a whole lot... if you only have to dump the compost once a year... Composting toilets aren't magic... a month's worth of crap still takes up a substantial amount of space, even after broken down into compost... granted a lot of it is water, but there's still a month's worth of crap when all is said and done.
An empty holding tank: Priceless.
No holding tank at all - even better, just dump the compost once a year. Use a composting toilet!
