i would not worry about it, maybe drill holes at the low points so the wire does not sit in a puddle. the insulation on the wire should be fine, but if it is a pre made multi conductor wire you might want to seal the ends where you strip the jacket off with liquid electric tape.
i think most people who talk about using pipe do it for protection and ease of pulling in a new wire
