I'm not a fan of Sotomayor, but the articles about 60% are somewhat misleading. Sotomayor has had over 350 opinions of which 6 that have been sent to the supreme court have been over turned.
As with other judges such as judge Alito who has written over a 100 opinions and has had 2 sent to the supreme court and both over turned.
As to those that have been over turned in both cases they where opinions of significance.
I think the real issue lays in her remarks made in the past that reflect what she allows to influence her decisions. Justice is suppose to be blind and weigh the facts not allowing personal feelings or experiences apply. And though i am not naive enough to believe this is always the case, it does not support putting someone on the supreme court that radial admits to it.
