I have to wonder (often) if you ever think through what you write craig? There is a difference between acknowledging the impact of one's background, with claiming it makes you superior to others. A distinction you seem to ignore, or are unable to comprehend.
While some may call the abandonment of stated principles "accepting reality", it's more often described as "the end justifies the means". Something you seem to have a problem with, when a Bush does it, but find it acceptable when an Obama does it. Rational people call that, hypocrisy. But then, you have amply demonstrated that your ethics are situational only.
