To do a Point/Counterpoint, you have to have some counterpoint to offer. As the above post shows, actual points are of little interest to you. You're without humor, lacking the subtlety for sarcasm and your cynicism falls short of the mark. I can easily imagine though, that you find Letterman hilarious.
