In general and with notable dissent - from a cruising perspective - most of us hate to give up the reserve buoyancy and storage (or cabin volume) that a conventional stern offers. And that''s before we look at the pinched cockpit, which is more noticeable on some of the smaller designs (e.g. PS 34).
