Appreciate the sentimate Smack.

Here around Daytona Beach their seems to be more and more boats semi-perminently appearing at anchor. It's obvious that they are becoming residences. I don't know if it's due to the easing and clarification of the anchoring laws or the failing local economy.
I thought the job opportunities were scarce before, now they are almost non-existent. Thank god we have the boat. We'll be renting out the house in the next couple months and getting aboard to hopefully find greener pastures.
I don't mind it so much as I love the water but the rest of the crew would probably prefer the house and yard.
We just got back from the boat a couple minutes ago and checked on the additional solar I added to power the frig and freezer. I'm looking for a wind generator to add as well. never have too much power. especially w/ a five year old who like to watch TV -alot !
I'm sure we will be fine, we home school anyhow and like I said I love the boat. I'm also scouring the local yard sales for a 10x10' screen tent to use when we find a spoil island we like. something light, cheap and durable.
how are things in everyone elses area ?
So as long as we are straying WAY off topic -- please don't bring a TV aboard. Especially if you have a 5 year old. Help him discover the wonder and beauty around him on the water.
