Nothing against pilot houses...but have you considered a standard aft or center cockpit boat with a full canvas enclosure? We''ve used one for years on our CC boats and find it keeps you warm, snug and dry and it is also adjustable to the weather since individual panels can be opened for fresh air. When the cockpit is fitted out with cushions, it is a great place to relax even when at the dock in any kind of weather.The downside is that the canvas and plastic eventually wear out unlike a hard pilot house. Just a thought...
