Cam, you are showing disrespect to the owners of the site and the mods.

Being off-topic means just that. Off-topic. Not on the usual topic. I carefully read the rules for off-topic - especially these:
"If you do not like it, steer clear of it"
"For those that are thin skinned or easily offended, you should steer clear of the Off Topic Forum"
And, of course, the one that you and some others have paid absolutely no attention to:
"please retain some level of civility"

You cannot have a 200 page conversation about Global Warming, which includes pages about Mexican food, and then complain about me discussing ENERGY - which is 100% related to the Global Warming topic.

And, you cannot put up with dozens of post making fun of GW "pros", and then say no politics are involved.

Really, what you are saying is that you only want YOUR politics to be represented.

If it is your blog, you have that right. However, it is not presented as that.

Some of the "cons" that hang here, including perhaps you, have already chased LOTS of reasonable people away (some have PMed me) - and that's fine. You can bully around the sandbox and, in the end, I'm certainly not going to hang out where openness and acceptance of others opinion is not welcomed.

At the same time, acting like my opinion is not mainstream is just ridiculous. The last election showed us that people care about such things as the environment that we leave to our children. Tens of millions of people in this country CARE about reducing pollution, climate change and our dependence on foreign energy sources. You probably do too, if you actually take the time to think about it.

Unlike you, I respect the house I am visiting. I do not engage in venomous personal attacks, do not tell "daddy" on you, nor break the rules (as I understand them).

I am in no way a troll. Doing stuff like you do - like posting BS for pages and pages - that is being a troll. Or worse.

In short, I will continue to follow the rules and if I don't like it, I will steer clear of it. I hope you can do the same and not feel as if you have to control everything you touch.
