Most vessels are designed with the structure of the hull and
rig not dependent on the deck. I believe most surveyors would consider this a cosmetic problem as opposed to a structural problem. I think you would be able to get away with option three and not even be extra "gentle" except for no "rhino stomping" on the deck. 'take care and joy, Aythya crew
