BTW, I just got a Gill three-dot foul weather gear jacket on the clearance rack at WM for $40. It was a $200 jacket originally. Major differences between marine FWG and non-marine are things like:

Inner cuffs so that when you reach up to adjust something rain doesn't pour down your sleeve and soak you.

Retroreflective patches on the sleeves and body

Better hood designs and a high-protective collar

etc...
