I'm in the process of installing a new PPS seal and the boatyard is pushing me hard to replace the
engine mounts with PYI hard mounts. I suspect that these mounts have less rubber (or more dense) creating less chance of wobble in the shaft and cutlass bearing but more floor and boat vibration. I wonder if anyone has any experience with this type situation? I'm not finding any great support for the PYI
engine mounts. I have a Yanmar in a Pacific Seacraft 34.
