35ft caliber
Sorry but I don''t know that boat but I did "race" against a Caliber 33 this spring with my C&C 35-1 and I usually blow smaller boats like this out of the water.
I was impressed by the speed of the C 33 on a close reach and while I passed it and I think I have a pic of that the Caliber did very well for herself.
I see from the specs of the C 33 that it has a ballast/dislacement ratio of over 45%. I like that high ratio a lot.
A feature I don''t like on the C 33 is the bob stay. They can tear mooring penants up but a roller or tubing on the bobstay will help a lot.
The C 33 can''t be cheap so make sure you have looked at a lot of boats first and in particular make sure the draft is not to deep. The C 33 is only 4 1/2''. That''s good for coastal crusing.
Iike I inferred from the start I am assuming the C 35 is like the C 33 and have based my comments on that assumption.
It''s getting colder here and it''s getting to be a buyers market so if that''s your climate then keep it in mind.
