If you can't get another panel, mount everything on a piece of marine grade plywood and put that in place. The stop handle should screw off the cable. The electrical connections should be relatively easy to remove and put together again. Just draw a diagram if you're unfamiliar with them. This was done on my Merlin when I re-powered and the Yanmar panel was too big for the cut-out in the coaming. Took the tach, starter, etc. off the panel, mounted evrerything on a piece of plywood and set it in. Painted it black and that was it.
