One thing that is also interesting about these Cats, it that they are often being used by South Africans to move "Financial Assets" out of South Africa. Since they apparently are very restricted in how much money can be directly removed they have boat built and sail them away to locations, often new homes abroad. Often they go back and repeat until the SA funds are depleted and move to new location.
Interesting and a very ingenious way to move assets that otherwise are restricted when in a different form such as cash or other property type.
Of course this is not limited to SA as many in USA do the same thing but I've never seen entire extended families do it together at same time in USA and it appears common in SA.
