(1) check out Tim Lackey''s site at http://www.triton381.com/ and his other associated sites and his Classic Plastic Forum for project boat owners/workers.

(2) While undertaking the gix up, you will want to have the boat stored at your house so that you can work on it all the time. If it is at a boatyard 2 hours away, it will be hard to do.

(3) buy the right boat -- one that has "good bones." Check out the first chapter of Don Casey''s "This Old Boat" for the outline of a good scheme for selecting a project boat (or any boat, for that matter).
