all my info is 20 years old, but I suspect many things have not changed much. The Cuna Indians are an independent people, a sovereign nation within Panama. They have invested into developing tourism to support their tribal lifestyle. Few of the islands have water supply. Those that do are piped in from the mainland. The Smithsonian used to maintain a research station there near the point, but no longer do so.
The diving is incredible.
The water is beautiful.
The people are polite and welcoming.
The culture is interesting.
Go.
and aerie? might suggest to your friend a website update is in order... not good for business to still have up the 03 calendar ; -)
