When we learned of Cruising Dad's plans to head to sea (he's been lakebound all these years
), the obvious question was "Who to replace him?" Of course, Cruising Dad is irreplaceable
-- but we still needed another moderator.
It's no exaggeration to say that we all chimed "Faster" nearly simultaneously.
If you've been around Sailnet any amount of time, you've more than likely benefitted from or enjoyed in some way Faster's posts. Whether it's been sound advice about boat choices or qualities, guidance on sail handling, suggestions for dinghies, anecdotes from his family sailing adventures, trip reports from his home cruising grounds in the Pacific Northwest, or dispatches from farther afield -- we've all come to know Faster as a consummate sailor and gentleman of the first order. He'll be a great addition to the Sailnet gang.
